It’s an opportunity to look back on two decades of success in delivering the Community Rail Development Strategy, helping our communities to see how their local stations and the railway connect them to people, places and opportunities to flourish.

11.10 Meet with Therese and Gary at Sittingbourne Station platform 3 or alternatively meet at Masters House at 12.15

 

11.23 Catch train to Sheerness Station whilst hearing commentary from Jonathan Fryer about projects at the stations we travel through including the fabulous murals at Swale Halt

 

11.42 Walk from Sheerness station to Masters House via the newly refurbished town clock to hear the noon chimes and hear more town tales from Jonathan

 

12.15 Arrival at Masters House tea and coffee

 

12.30 Welcome speeches

 

1pm Lunch with visual displays to view and networking opportunity

 

2pm Speeches

 

2.20 Breakout session – with task!

 

3.10-3.20 Closing address

 

Optional 20min scenic coastal walk back to Sheerness Station

 

3.47 Train from Sheerness to Sittingbourne Station (or half hourly thereafter)
