About New Hythe

New Hythe is a village around 5 miles from Maidstone and is the closest station to the area of Larkfield. The station serves an industrial area and is also within walking distance of Leybourne Lakes Country Park which is home to a range of leisure activities including walking, cycling, fishing, windsurfing, scuba diving and bird watching.

 

Walks Around New Hythe

The Lakes and Marshes Walk takes you on a 2.9 miles route from New Hythe train station to Snodland. You will walk through the wetlands area of Leybourne Lakes and Holborough Marshes. Experience the wonderful wildlife and countryside as you follow this short walk. There is the option of extending this route and completing an additional loop.
