Tracks And Trails Experience With Walk Wild Wellbeing

Saturday 14th November

Working with Plantlife Ranscombe Reserve, Medway Council, and the Friends of Cuxton station; Kent Community Rail Partnership have created a waymarked walking route connecting Cuxton station to the Ranscombe Reserve.

The waymarking will help people who make sustainable travel choices to reach Ranscombe Reserve and the glorious countryside of the Kent Downs.

Community Rail Network have provided funding to make the waymarking possible, along with two walk experiences which will be lead by Walk Wild Wellbeing, to celebrate how the railway connects us to people and nature.

These two walk experiences will be wellbeing focused, complete with poetry and storytelling and suitable for children to attend. (when accompanied by an adult).

The first walk will take place on Saturday 14th November, starting and finishing at Cuxton Station. The second will take place in March 2027.

Ranscombe Reserve is part of the North Kent Woods and Downs National Nature Reserve, which is one of the King’s Series National Nature Reserves:  https://kentdowns.org.uk/nkwd/about-us/nkwd-our-story/
