Welcome to Kent Community Rail Partnership’s station adoptions.
Many of our stations are cared for by people from their local community, offering opportunities for friends to get together for a spot of light gardening, spaces for schools to exhibit artwork or hold outdoor learning sessions, and a whole host of other activities that put our stations at the heart of the communities they serve.
All of our station adoption groups are registered with Southeastern. Southeastern provide safety briefings, volunteer registration, insurance for approved activities at stations and support through Customer and Community Investment Fund and Southeastern in Bloom schemes.
Constituted station adoption groups can join Community Rail Network as Station Adoption Members, giving access to their Small Grant Fund, advice and peer support for projects at stations.
Kent Community Rail Partnership facilitates connections to Southeastern and Community Rail Network and is able to offer general support and advice to station adopters along our lines.
