An unexpected surprise was waiting for us at Snodland station earlier this month, when we updated the Newsletters in our station noticeboards.

The allotment site behind the Maidstone bound platform has been cleared by Network Rail well ahead of schedule and a new secure fence line erected in place of the previous temporary structure.

A huge thank you from us to the teams at Network Rail who have made this happen. We continue liaison with Five Acre Wood (Snodland) to help them bring this space into use as an allotment and outdoor learning area and hope to form a clearer picture of next steps early in the new school year.
